Mandarin version available soon. 《同一個天空，不同的世界》。贏了，冠軍。感恩。這條片不是小帕一貫的風格，題材也是有點不一樣，之前說過有點不安，現在放下了心頭大石。謝謝大會，謝謝評判之一的導演葉文希。稍後我會上載普通話版於自己的QQ騰訊 （參賽其中之一的條件是短片沒有公開播放過），敬請支持～ Having lived in the U.S. where meat and dairy are prevalent, I got used to eating a diet with too many animal products and completely overwhelmed by commercial messages of how dairy is important to our health, until I got sick, very sick with cancer. It was a wake up call that there was something wrong with my lifestyle and choices. That's when I started my vegan journey, staying away from meat, seafood, dairy and eggs, to heal my cancer without surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy. The rest is history! I chose dairy as the topic because most people don't understand why vegans don't consumer dairy products. It seems natural that cows produce milk and so there's no killing or cruelty involved. Some religions also allow diary products while they are preaching about compassion. Clearly, it is a profound topic being neglected and misunderstood, especially in Asia. I hope this short film can create more awareness of what dairy cows and some animals have to go through in order to feed human beings. Most importantly, this serves as a reminder that there are always alternatives to live better and happier without building our pleasure on other's sufferings. From this individual effort, we hope to call upon collective awakening to this responsibility.
